My First Book Launched at the Ekushey Book Fair!

Hello everyone,

I am so happy and proud to share my biggest news with you! My very first book, “আরিয়েত্তির ছোট্ট ছোট্ট গল্পেরা” (Arrietty’s Little Stories), was officially launched at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2025.

Holding this book in my hands for the first time was an amazing feeling, and it was made even more special by being a part of the Boi Mela. For any author, having a book launch there is a huge dream, and I’m so excited it came true!

I’m so grateful to my publisher, কাকাতুয়া (Kakatuya Prakashani), for this wonderful launch. My book is a collection of ten of my favorite stories, and the beautiful illustrations were all done by the talented তন্ময় শেখ (Tonmoy Shekh).

I dedicated this book to the people I love most in the world, who inspire me every single day: “আমার বাবা, মোহাম্মাদ শামীম রেজা, মামণি, কামরুন্নাহার দিপা এবং আমার মিষ্টি ছোট ভাই, আনিত ইসলামকে। তোমাদের আমি অনেক অনেক ভালোবাসি।” (To my father, Mohammad Shamim Reza, Mamoni, Kamrunnahar Dipa, and my sweet little brother, Anit Islam. I love you all very, very much.)

One of the greatest honors of my life is that the renowned, Bangla Academy Award-winning author রফিকুর রশীদ (Rafiqur Rashid) wrote a “শুভেচ্ছা” (Good wishes) for my book. I was so touched by his kind words.

I wrote these stories for other kids to read and enjoy. My biggest hope is that my book will inspire other young readers and writers to dream big and create their own magical worlds.
