Hello everyone!

A lot of people ask me when I first started loving art. The answer takes me back to a special project in 2020, when I was just six years old. It was my very first big art adventure that I did all by myself at home, and it’s where I discovered the magic of patterns and doodles.

The 30-Pattern Challenge

It all started with a simple challenge I gave myself: to create 30 unique patterns using just a black pen and white paper. I remember sitting at my desk, filling little squares with swirls, lines, zig-zags, and shapes. Some looked like dragon scales, others like cosmic galaxies. It was so calming to just let the pen move and see what design would appear next.

I collected all of these patterns and put them together on a big board, creating my very first mini-exhibition. It was so exciting to see them all together!

From Patterns to Doodle Art

After I finished my pattern board, I didn’t want the fun to end. I had learned all these cool designs, and I wanted to use them in a new way. That’s when I discovered doodling! I would take coloring pages of animals, like a turtle or a beautiful jellyfish, and instead of just coloring them in, I would fill each section with one of my unique patterns.

This was my favorite part. It felt like I was giving each character a special, secret code. The turtle’s shell wasn’t just green; it was a map of tiny, intricate worlds.

My First At-Home Art Show

I was so proud of all the colorful doodle art I had made that I decided to host a real art show, right on the door of my room! I framed each piece with bright paper and displayed them for everyone to see. Seeing all my creations together in one big, colorful collection made me feel so happy and inspired.

That project taught me that you don’t need fancy supplies to be an artist. All you need is a simple idea, a little curiosity, and the courage to make that first mark on the page. It was the true beginning of my art journey, and I’m so happy I could share this story with you.

আজ আমি আমার সবচেয়ে পছন্দের একটি শৈল্পিক অভিযানের গল্প তোমাদের সাথে শেয়ার করতে চাই, আর সেটা হলো পেপার কুইলিং! তোমরা যদি আমার ক্রাফটিং পেজটি দেখো, তাহলে একটি প্রজেক্ট দেখতে পাবে যা নিয়ে আমি খুব গর্বিত—রঙিন কাগজের রোল দিয়ে বানানো একটি সুন্দর ফুলদানি। কিন্তু এই পর্যন্ত আসার গল্পটা শুরু হয়েছিল একটি বাক্স দিয়ে।

সবকিছুর শুরু হয়েছিল যখন আমি আমার প্রথম কুইলিং কিটটি হাতে পাই। বাক্সটি খোলার পর রঙিন কাগজের স্ট্রিপ এবং চমৎকার সব সরঞ্জাম দেখে আমি ভীষণ উত্তেজিত ছিলাম। প্রথমে, কাগজকে সঠিকভাবে রোল করাটা একটু কঠিন ছিল, কিন্তু একটি সাধারণ স্ট্রিপকে পেঁচিয়ে সুন্দর কয়েল বা চোখের জলের মতো আকৃতি দেওয়ার প্রক্রিয়াটি আমার খুব ভালো লেগেছিল।

আমার প্রথম বড় প্রজেক্ট ছিল পাথরের ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা একটি ত্রিমাত্রিক (3D) ফুল। এই কাজটি আমাকে শিখিয়েছে কীভাবে বিভিন্ন আকৃতি তৈরি করতে হয় এবং সেগুলোকে দাঁড় করিয়ে রাখার মতো শক্তিশালী করা যায়।

এরপর আমি আর থামিনি! আমি আরও জটিল ছবি তৈরি করতে শুরু করি, যেমন বিভিন্ন ধরনের ফুলসহ একটি লতা, এমনকি বন্ধুর জন্য উপহার হিসেবে একটি রঙিন প্রজাপতিও বানিয়েছি। প্রতিটি প্রজেক্ট ছিল আমার জন্য একটি নতুন ধাঁধা এবং রঙ ও নকশা নিয়ে খেলার নতুন সুযোগ। কুইলিং আমার কাছে কাগজ দিয়ে ছবি আঁকার মতো, এবং আমি এটা খুব ভালোবাসি কারণ এটি আমাকে ধৈর্যশীল এবং নির্ভুল হতে শেখায়।

প্রতিটি ঘূর্ণি এবং প্রতিটি ছোট অংশ একটি বড় ছবির অংশ, আর আমি মনে করি এটা শেখার জন্য একটি দারুণ ব্যাপার। আমি আশা করি, এই পোস্টটি তোমাদের নতুন কিছু চেষ্টা করতে উৎসাহিত করবে এবং হয়তো তোমরাও তোমাদের নিজেদের কুইলিং যাত্রা শুরু করবে!
